I feel really good today. :-)
Still congested as all heck, but things are Moving, which is good.
Spring is In the Air! Hurrah! :-D I walked home with my coat open today, and it was wonderful. :-D
Also: I got a book (and Gladiator) in the mail today: Ina May Gaskin's Guide to Childbirth. The first half is just stories, people telling about their home-birthing experiences (that's the bit I'm on, now. :-) I'm quite enjoying it.
It's very possitive. :-)
This is something I've noticed:
I can read stuff about how women get screwed, and it brings my anger to the surface and gives me a way of articulating it. But it doesn't make me happy.
Or
I can read stuff about how women are saying "to hell with this getting screwed business. I'm taking matters into my own hands and not getting screwed anymore" and that makes me happy. :-)
Yay! :-)
Dr. Paulus is visiting his friend, Joanne, tonight, to show her his new invention.
It's this coppr conductor thing that picks up and balances (or something) the flow of your own energy.
It's neat.
Wierd.
But neat.
I tried it, twice.
The first time, it was very uncomfortable. I had pins and needles *everywhere* and it actually *hurt*.
The second time, while I still got pins and needles everywhere, it was much less painful, and there were good bits, too. :-)
You can introduce essential oils and teas and stones and stuff into the flow as well. He tried it with yarrow & peppermint tea, and it was very, very relaxing for him. :-)
I'd like to try it again with something like that, or with... Tiger Iron Jasper and Iron Tiger's Eye, or something thrown into the mix. :-)
I think it could be good. :-)
