Mucus comes in so many colours...
And on that note:
My aunt's brother-in-law is dying (of the same thing my Dad died of, funnily enough), and she's asked me to make a tape/CD/recording of some music for the funeral.
They would like:
- "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan
- "Wind Beneath my Wings" by Bette Midler
- Amazing Grace (by a random ex-slave-dealer)
I'm thinking of throwing a few extras on there, just in case. (Plus, hey, I've got the sheet music for, like, two dozen songs -- I may as well get my/their money's worth out of them. ;-)
Currently am trying to find karaoke CDs that I can get within a couple of days. There's a Bette Midler one, with the appropriate song on it, that I could probably have at my door in a week. Which would work because we're recording on the 24th.
The Sarah CD I found, though, is not as helpful. So I must phone the HMVs around town and see if they've got it (or, failing that, see if they can get it to me significantly faster than ordering it online would).
That reminds me, though. I have to write to Donna and ask if she needs me to re-record "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" and "The White Cliffs of Dover" (two other songs they're using, off a tape I did years ago), or if they're just using the music they already have.
In other news:
Today is my brother's birthday. We (Mom, John and I) are having brunch at Bravo Bravo at Noon to mark it. :-)
I got him a shaving bar (because he actually uses them -- no arisol cans for him! ;-) and a Clash CD. I hope he likes them. :-)
After Brunch, I will go to HMV and look for Karaoke CDs. Whee! :-)
Time to wrap John's present. :-)
- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
