Also, I've got mosquitoes in my damn office and they're trying to eat me!!!

Have been surprisingly happy since about 2pm. Partially, I think, because I got a pep-talk from Mom. Also partially because I got "I Don't Need A Man" (extremely peppy tune from The Pussycat Dolls) stuck in my head, and partially because I was thinking about flirting with pretty girls.
(It's amazing how that can cheer me up).
And yet, I was bawling my eyes out all morning. What a ride. :-P
This evening: Had lovely tea and cookies and pear and cucumber and rice crackers with Raynedaze, Ian and Ami_B, and took home a Huge bag of boxes (some of which are now full) as well as a big bag of packing paper (for breakables), which will come in handy when dealing with unwanted dishes (and, eventually, wanted dishes).
Came home and, rather than weeding the wrapping paper, I weeded the crafting stuff instead. A very big tupperware full of crafting goodies is now going to the Sally-Anne. Filled up two boxes with Stuff and edited my candle collection so that it includes almost exclusively tea lights. consequently, there's a big bag of taper candles that I think I'll try to foist off on my mom. She actually uses those kind, you see.
Took Paul's degrees off the wall (which now looks both very empty in general and yet also very full of little nails)
My boss is looking to extend my contract to mid-August, which would be good. (Yay for Guaranteed Income!)
I'm hoping to hear from my condo-manager person about when the chimney is being repaired. I *think* it may have been done when they re-did the roof yesterday. If this is so, then I now have an up-to-code (and therefore usable) fire place and could, conceivably add the four boxes of 25-year-dried oak and cedar fire wood + the one box of kindling (mostly maple) as a bonus.
In theory, at least.
But I have to find out if the chimney's been fixed, or not. (If it hasn't, the firewood will probably go on Freecycle).
