So my sister's friend is in a burlesque troupe in Toronto. They're called The Cinnamon Hearts and they are, my sister assures me, hilarious. Also hawt. :-)
And they're performing (for free!) at Toronto Pride. So if you're in town, you should totally go and see them! :-)

Hello Ladies and Gents,
The Cinnamon Hearts and Saucy Tarts have got a mighty fine burlesque show lined up for you at Pride. There'll be cowboys, pillowfights and, back by popular request, Austin Powers. Best of all, the show is absolutely free!
WHERE:Church and Wellesley - the Village stage
WHEN: 8:00 til 9:00pm [EDIT: Saturday, July 27th! /EDIT]
HOST:the all-singing, all-hosting marvel, Ryan G. Hinds
SPECIAL GUEST: our favourite femmebot, Mlle Creme Brulee
...and keep your eye out for a Heart or two in the pride parade on Sunday, and at the dyke march on Saturday.
If you miss the good ol' stage shows, never fear. The Hearts'll be back at Goodhandy's with Ryan on August 14th, with our new show "Hearts and Hinds."
