Modeling Stuff (Ish)
So.
I've got that wonderful pin-up shoot on the 29th, which I'm seriously looking forward to, but I may also be doing a photo shoot (at the Mariot?) on Tuesday. Which is probably going to be a cocktail dress and some nice shoes Mm. Which means, provided I her back from him, I should probably re-dye my hair and shave my legs tomorrow.
Note to Self: Therapy is also tomorrow. At 5pm. Don't forget.
Anyway. Hopefully, this will result in a new set of pictures to sort through and, with any luck, add to my portfolio. (I know the pin-up shoot will. Gilda does good work, and I'm comfortable with her, so we should have a good time and come up with some really fun pictures which, with any luck, will include a couple of full-body shots and at least one really good head shot). But extra updates are always good.
Also, a few days ago I applied for a "keywording" job (part-time, extra-cash kind of thing, but its a flexible schedule, work-from-home deal, so it wouldn't interfere with any other work I happened to snag) at a stock-photo place in town.
That possition had been filled, but the fellow who does the staffing sent me another thing -- basically it's a freelance photography job (one of the photographers on MM works for them a lot, actually, so we may end up working together in the name of mutually paying our bills).
I replied to that explaining that, while I'm definitely cut out for coming up with story ideas, I'm not a photographer. But I mentioned (since the literature he sent me mentioned needing to aprove models for these pictures) that I've done some modeling, and gave him a link to my MM portfolio.
He wrote back, saying that they're *always* looking for models (and pay $25/hr -- if they can't convince you to do it TFP, I realize), and asking for a few shots to keep on file.
So I sent him few pictures (this, my dears, is why I *really* want to get some body-shots -- urg, that didn't sound right -- that are up-to-date, because right now, while I have beautiful pictures in my portfolio, the ones where you can actually get a good idea of what my body looks like from top to bottom? Are all ten to twelve years old. This is a problem. ;-)
ANYWAY. While I'm not necessarily expecting anything to come from the stock-photo place in terms of modeling gigs, if something does... well, hey, every little bit helps. :-)
In other news: It sounds like some lucky gal is having enjoyable sex with the windows open. :-) Aw. :-)
