...Because Posting about Loot is fun. :-)
Right.
So, aside from the totally surprising surprise shower on Friday, I also had a Bridal Shower on Sunday (which I knew about months in advance).
And so. I post about the Loot:
I got a fitted sheet + two pillow cases + a flat-sheet (the last of-which is going to be my table-cloth... Much nicer than the borning off-white ugly table-cloths that were available). They (like most of the stuff accumulated during this shower) were off our registry, however they got the colour wrong. So I went and exchanged them today, and now they are Purple! :-D They're in the dryer right now. :-)
Also: Two black tone-on-tone striped pillow cases, two sets of black bath towels, two sets of blue bath towels, a potato-masher, a slotted spoon, an egg-slicer (which I suspect i'll use more for tomatoes), two dish towels, six kitchen-towels (fuzzier than dish-towels, but that's really the only distinction), half a dozen dish-cloths, a statue, a massive amount of magnetic note pads and post-it notes... and a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember off the top of my head. :-)
Anywhoo, so that was my Sunday afternoon. :-)
In other news: We're beginning to wonder if my mother isn't trying to make Paul sick. (He can't digest pork, but *every time* we're over there for dinner -- with the exception of traditionally-turkey-based holiday feasts -- she have fed him some form of dead pig.
Gah!
It's not like we haven't pointed this out... :-P
