I finished "The Wolves of Woden" (Alison Baird) today. It's the pre-quil (hehe) to her book "The Hidden World". They're neat and deal with the Faerie world of Annwn (~a-noon). Set partly on the Isle of Avalon and partly on the Avalon penisula of Nfld (same piece of rock, different world/universe/dimension). Good fun with lots of Mythological stuff thrown in. :-) Whee. :-)
Next up: "Shattered Mirror", the latest from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (the girl who got "In the Forests of the Night" published when she was about fourteen). What can I say, I think her vampire stories are cute (possibly not the best term, but it'll do), and I think it's neat that she's so young. :-)
Whee. Fun stories for me! :-)
- Nam'ara
- Amazon. :-)
