So, Paul and I talked a bit about wedding stuff last night (while eating pizza, which was good 'cause I was *hungry*!)
So, we are going to do a sit-down dinner, rather than a coctail reception. (Both sets of parents are urging us to go "dinner", and Paul's parents have volunteered to make up the $800 difference between dinner and a coctail reception, so how can we say no?)
We're going to do a wedding scrap-book in lieu of a wedding photo-album. (Possibly I can rope my sister into doing this -- She likes scrap-booking). As such, our "guest book" is actually going to be a box of "cue cards" -- little white cards, possibly with a decorative border on them, that are about twice the size of a business card. That way everyone can write down their name and a little message (I think I'll get a couple of coloured pens for this), and we can have one or two of them on every page in the scrap-book. :-)
I seem to have developed a repetative stress injury (or inflamation, or something) on the left side of my jaw, just where it hinges by my ear. (From kissing Paul, of all things...) So that's kind of annoying. :-\
Anywhoo. It's about 9:30 now, so I've got to get myself dressed and ready for work.
As such, I leave you with this:
Things I'd like:
- Archery lessons
- Belly Dancing lessons
- A sewing-crafting-workshop that Paul and I could share
- A better idea of how to cook for one person.
- To not need to *work* (read get a pay-cheque) for a living, but rather be able to spend my days reading, gardening, making stuff, raising my kids, teaching the odd course at the university and/or in my kitchen, and generally enjoying life. :-)
- Nam'ara,
- Amazon.
