So...
Last night I went out to my friend Cathy's new appartment. :-)
She has two little kitties -- Pumpkin (Calico/Torty-&-White) and Smudge (grey-brown Tabby w/ a touch of orange on the paws). Both girls. Pumpkin is a mischevious little thing (who kept trying to attack the inside of my skirt...) Smudge is much quieter.
We ate heaps of hors d'oevres, and watched Sleepy Hollow.
Note About MR Fic-Verse )

It was an enjoyable evening. Her friend Jen (and her fellow, Rob) bought a house last august (good for them!) and are hoping to put in a garden next year. :-)
Yay! Gardening! :-)

Anywhoo. I'm hungry and am going to get some breakfast. :-)

- Nam'ara,

Have fun, folks. :-)

I just ordered two new books:
One for Paul ("The Way of the Shaman" by Michael Harner... <*sigh*>)
And one for me ("Spirit Walker" by Michele Paver -- Sequel to "Wolf Brother").

Also... (Thank You Idioglossia) I've been visiting the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. Oh my goodness... :-)

I now have a long, long list of perfumes I would like to try. (In groups of six, no less. ;-)

My Wish List )

Do you notice a scent theme here?
Honey, Vanilla, Roses, Spices, Dark Fruits, and Moss?
The smell of a crumbling and over-grown Victorian manor?
(Why not? My name, allegedly, means "woman of noble estate". ;-)

Three Curses for them only working in PayPal outside of the states. Blast! I'll have to see if they can take a cheque. (Paypal having been a real neusance to me for the past couple of months).

Have also been looking at soap recipes again.
Have devised two more:

"The Sweetest Curse": Coffee and Rosehips (I wouldn't mind adding some clay to this, and some sort of middle-ground between the bitter of the coffee and the bright of the rosehips... Possibly chocolate... Any ideas?)

"Spiced Honey": Buckwheat honey, cinnamon and cardamom, plus cloves and... yarrow flowers (also possibly chicory and queen anne's lace...)
