People of Ottawa! :-)
One Night Only:
Heather Dale in Concert
509 Arts (U of O, right at Laurier bus stop)
7:30pm
Friday, November 25th, 2005
Tickets $10 (or $7 w/ valid student ID)
CDs will also be available. (And munchies!)
Heather does modern music (in the same vein as Sarah McLauchlin and Loreena McKennit) using traditional instruments (mostly from the British Isles). Much of her material draws on the legends of King Arthur. Good fun all 'round! :-)
This particular show will be mostly music from (A) Her new CD, "The Road to Santiago" (including the song "Sedna" about the Goddess of the same name), and (B) Her CD "This Endris Night" which is, for the most part, medieval christmas music. :-)
she's quite tallented, and a sweetheart, as well. :-)
- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
