New bed resulted in sore back (for Paul as well as me), but not sore hips.
We'll how this sorts out over the next week or so as we adjust to the matress, and the matress adjusts to us. :-)
The new bed does not creak though. Hurrah! :-D
The bread turned out very nicely, if I do say so myself. :-) With a strong crust, and a very mellow flavour. Hurrah! :-)
Today I need to get more squash, -- Two hubbard squashes only provided four cups of squash. So more is needed if I'm going to have a big squash puff -- also, I'll need that casserol dish (with a lid) and I need to make a gluten-free soda-bread (for the topping) -- most likely I'll make it with amaranth. But we'll see. :-) (Or, conversely, I'll just get a loaf of, say, rice-bread, from the grocery store. Which would be easier -- although then I'd have a big heap fo rice bread... Blegh... Such a conundrum. ;-)
Paul and I watched 'Sky High'. Campy, dumb fun. With a few bits that made me wince (like the bit where Jetstream is always a bit of an afterthought, and it's all about hitting things -- and Steve does not appear to be the most... with-it parent... undermining Josie's authority with that x-box and all... hello, you're supposed to present a united front when dealing with your kids. Even I know that...).
There were a few bits I liked (arguing about what their kid's getting into and contemplating the use of a vat of toxic waste, and just how that whole scene was handled; the way Magenta talked back to the gym teacher. The comment about dividing people into different groups adn how "that's highschool").
Mr. Peace is (A) Beautiful, and (B) Wierd. Go unresolved issues... Messed up little kid. Neat, how he can speak Chinese, though. :-)
Anyway.
That was my evening.
Now for breakfast, shower, shopping, and more cooking. :-D
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
