Today I have Goddess Book Club, and a facial. Woohoo! :-D
I also found out that: I type 73 words/minute. Stephanie, my interview-person has informed me that the average is about 35 words/minute. So: Haha! :-D I type really, really fast! :-D
I feel validated, for some reason. :-)
I'm going to wash my hair with chocolate shampoo today. :-) That should be fun. :-)
In other news: Paul and I are going to the Witches' Gathering, after all. :-) I will not be wearing my wedding gown as part of my costume. This is partly for over-heating reasons, and partly for reasons of not wanting mead or other alcohol spilled down my pretty, pretty dress. :-)
Instead I'm making a wide-belted skirt -- using silver/blue ribbon-garland (3"-4" wide) with hook-and-eye closures as the main support system -- out of silver lammee, with a blue (broadcloth) knee-length under-skirt. The underskirt will probably have an elastic waist or be otherwise very low-maintainance and easy to deal with. I think the silver lame skirt will have long fringes (or something) of teal/navy plastic bead-string (I have no idea what the correct term for this is) hanging from the belt.
Not sure what I'll use for the top. Either my silver corset (from convergence a few years ago) or a blue bra-thing that I made years and years ago -- I might do that, actually. A very belly-dance based costume, but hey: They're meant to be danced in. :-)
I'd have to switch out the straps for something in blue and/or silver, but that wouldn't be too difficult. :-) (Especially not with my handy-dandy pretend-dress-maker's-dummy on hand. ;-)
This will be a busy day, made up largely of sewing. :-)
Whee! :-D
