I spent Sunday afternoon cleaning. I can now see (!!) the surface of my bedside table (Wow!) among other things, but that's the big one.

Monday afternoon, I went to Chapters and picked up a copy of Queen Rat by Lynn Crosbie - Canadian Poet who seems kinda cool) and Widdershins (the new Charles de Lint book).

I will take Widdershins with me to Ithaca on Saturday.

<*sigh*>

Most unfortunately, we are leaving for the states at 7am on Saturday morning. (I suspect this has to do with when my aunts' rental of the beach-house starts, rather than anything about when my mom gets out of bed). this means getting picked up (my mom's boyfriend lives in our area) at 6:30am.
Oog.

So all the packing, etc. has to be done and down by the door by the time we go to bed on Friday. (As such, I've already started pack. Still need to pack: Sunscreen, hairbrush, makeup... Music for the trip).

Paul and I will be using the 'birth-certificate + expired driver's liscence' combination to get us into the U.S. (We're going by car, so that should be okay).
Wish us luck. :-D

I'm contemplating putting more dye in my hair before we go. Probably won't happen, though. :-)

Also: I developed my photoshopped goth pictures yesterday.
I think I may tweak two of them, but the other three turned out quite nicely.

Anyway, that's about it. (What a very dull post).

I've been having a grand time listening to Clan of Xymox on Youtube.
Whee!
Believe it or not, I'd only ever heard one of their songs before (at least heard it knowing who it was by). I quite like them. :-)

Also: "Sing", by the Dresden Dolls is really, really beautiful. :-) (And something I needed to hear, I think. :-)

Currently listening to A Silver Mount Zion and going "Mmmmmmmmm... Strings..." I think CD shopping will have to happen again in the near future. :-)

Off to make dinner, now. :-)

[EDIT: You've probably seen this, but I was just so impressed I figured I'd give them free advertising: The 'Mona Lisa' as done in MS Paint. This is really, really cool, go have a look. :-)]
