(no subject)

So, the SLE test was on reading and writing (although both were multiple choice and so I didn't actually have to 'write' anything - thank goodness, 'cause I'd have totally failed it if I'd had to do *that*), without the oral. Apparently if I get any kind of useful score on this one, then they'll contact me about doing an oral.

Anyway. It was many, many hours of filling in little circles on the scantron sheet, but now it is over and done with. Yay! :-)

How I Feel About It: Meh. I don't think I screwed anything up too badly. :-) That said, this is coming from someone whose French is limited enough that the subtle-difference answer-options are totally lost on me. So it's possible that I did absolutely horribly and just haven't figured it out yet.

But we shall see. I should have my results some time in the first week of April. :-)



In other news: I seem to be getting good comments on my story. :-) I've had some useful concrit, too, which is *fabulous*! :-) I did a little more editing on it this morning - finding type-oes and fixing the wording in a couple of sentences, that kind of thing. :-) I look forward to getting more useful concrit from the lovely lady who is kindly editing my story on paper.
(I <3 the slashers' group - how lovely to be surrounded by equally amateur, equally enthusiastic writers of smut. :-)
So I feel like that's coming along quite nicely. :-)



And I have a spiffy new book to read, on loan from Arndis and Tchang, who fed me dinner last night. :-) I think I will go and read it, now. :-)
