So, I got up this morning (and hacked and coughed and blew my nose enough that I woke my sister (a floor below me) up.
I then got dressed and came downstairs, and my sister and I did laundry and unloaded the dishwasher and re-loaded the dishwasher, and made pumpkin loaf!
By which I mean *my sister* made pumpkin loaf, while I mixed the dry ingredients for cookies! :-D
Pumpkin loaf contains:
Flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, oil, eggs, vanilla
mashed (tinned) pumpkin
dried cranberries
pecans
white chocolate chips (Which totally melted and disappeared into the loaf
This is what we had for breakfast. :-D
We also did a cross-word. :-)
Now I am at the library, having written down the dirrections to Ami_B's Spiffy New House, and will soon be (A) returning some library books, and (B) going to Dyke March.
Wah.
I'm going to Dyke March.
See, last year - along with the weather being crappy and *me* being under the weather - I was scared to go.
I was scared that Paul would be mad/resentful/threatened if I went.
I was also scared that the 100% Gay lesbians - or, rather, some small contingent thereof that I had the misfortune of running into - would look at my wedding ring, ask where my wife was, and when I answered "Uh... husband..." they would go "Ssssssssss. One those damn bisexuals! You make us all look bad, you slutty, non-commital bisexual, you! We hate you and don't want you at the march that is supposed to be for REAL lesbians! Sssssssssssssssss!" (Don't ask me where the hissing came from, it just seemed to fit).
So, yeah. Fear-vice. I didn't go.
And this year I'm going. Ra! Go me. :-)
Post-march, I stop by the picnic grounds, listen to a small amount of music, and then high-tail it out west to Ami_B's place for cookie-making with her and Arndis. :-D
The Cookies I will be making are mocha chocolate chip. (I will need two eggs, a cup of margarine/oil and 2tsp vanilla to complete the recipe).

Graduated from U of T in 1927 with a bachelor of electrical engineering and a master of aeronautical engineering in 1929 rom U. Michigan. Also a human rights activist. I believe this calls for WIN. :-D
