Things Keep Getting Better and Better

I got the job.

So I begin my spiffy contract (good 'til the beginning of December, if not earlier) on Monday morning (bright and early, walking to the #3 at 7am or so, but still! It's, like, seven or eight blocks! No problem!) just shortly after my move.

Painting will happen on Friday afternoon (and, most likely, into the evening). I will have to try and write something for Umi Open Mic, since I now have the opportunity to go. (Alternatively, I may end up at a Magazine launch... Guerrila? I think I may have linked to it some time ago, but I'm not sure).
Mad cleaning and final packing will happen on Saturday morning and afternoon.

My sister picks up the Truck at 3pm. This is followed by truck load-up (which my sister and I will handle on our own) and then getting to The New Place for - I predict - 5pm.
So if you're looking to help unload stuff, feel free to turn up (comment me and I can send you the addy). :-)


Anyway. Things are turning out really well. I need to contact McNabb community center and sign up for Belly Dance Level One (I've already taken level one, but there were a few movements that I *totally* didn't get, so I figure it would be better to take it twice than to be in over my head by starting on Level Two without have the basics down).
The class starts on Tuesday and is taught by Pot_Belly! :-D


But yeah.
