(no subject)

I think some idiot (possibly a machine) had decided my phone number is a fax number.

It called me *four times* (possibly five) between 3am and 3:15 this morning.

What the good goddamn fuck is *that* about???

The first two, I lept out of bed, thinking "ACK! No-one calls at three a.m. unless someone is in the hospital!!!" only to hear goddamn beaping on the other end of the (crackling) line.
I let the answering machine get the second two times, but holy fuck. It's not like my (low-tec) answering machine has a mute button. :-P


This also involved a weird dream about my boss and trying to organize a large order of shwarma. I believe it was chicken.
What the goddamn hell?


My brain needs the weekend.


Thankfully, in only a few short hours, I will *have* The Weekend, so this is okay. :-)


Hopefully I will get some groceries done today. :-D

(no subject)

So, the Heather Dale show was great.
No surprise.

I got her new CD - The Gabriel Hounds, which I hear is pretty damn cool. Haven't played it yet, but I shall play it tomorrow.
Perhaps a lot.

I had a chat with Sara -- I suck at the phone, by the way -- and she's going to come and see me tomorrow night. I will make a salad for us using avocado, greens, tomato, and pomegranite seeds, among other things.

And I will make her waffles for breakfast on Sunday Morning. :-) Whee! :-D

And I will attempt to remember that I said I'd go to Pagan Brunch this Sunday, so lolling about in bed until noon is not (entirely) an option.

That said: Y'all who are expecting me at Brunch this Sunday? I might or might not actually make it. You are duely warned.


Anyway.

I am tired, and I need to get some sleep. Busy day tomorrow -- taking a trip back to my old neighbourhood to get rid of plastic bags and visit the one Scotiabank that I *know* is open on Saturdays. Plus there are the usual dishes to do and sheets to change and so on and so forth.

So, lots to do.
