So, I read at Umi last night.
Only two poems (was originally going to do four, but decided to cut it down 'cause I needed to get home).
One was "Tongues" - which is posted here.
The other was a poem about how I spent my New Year's Eve.
Atlantic and Court.
I got a kick out of how I was introduced as a published writer (Vagina Dentata comes out this month, and it's the issue with my two poems in it). I couldn't help grinning when he ("he" being Bradford, the guy who was hosting last night) said that.
After I read, a gal named Stephie came up to me and shook my hand, and asked where she could find more of my work. To-which I replied, eloquently: "Oh, pshaw. I'm here practically every week."
How... weird. There's a slim chance that I have a fan... O.o
Anyway. Have company coming over in... 2.5 hours. Must tidy a bit more, and go and get milk and/or bread or something. :-)
- TTFN,
- Amazon.
