(no subject)

I'm lonely and I'm angry.

Which is a hell of a switch from where I was last night.

Last nigt? Last night was AWESOME!

There were Commodorified, Raynedaze, I_Clysdale, Ami_B, Shiny_Brain, Tsivia and a few other people who all turned out.

And there was cake and coffee and discussion of science-art-religion afterwords.

And there was Ursula, who is awesome. :-)

So, all in all, last night was a HUGE fucking success and I'm thrilled to death about it.

In-Which I am Happy. WOW! :-D

So.

Aside from Slasher Drama and missing Miz Commodorified this morning (she is off to Wiscon, among other things, and I can't say I blame her for choosing the extra hour of sleep-glorious-sleep), today has been a remarkably good day.

I pin this, at least in part, on the fabulous weather.

I also pin it on starting to plan the next WW party with Miz Sara (since she lives out of town now and has friends she'd like to see in Ottawa, and since said friends sound like they'd mix rather well with the pre-existing WW crowd, we figured "Hey, why not have everyone over at once? :-D So that's our plan. Dates, times, etc. TBA. :-) and, likewise, getting to yack about art-religion-science and women-only space, and the Gaia Hypothesis as a Scientific story about the world that happens to be told in language that I, as a religion-language-speaker, can understand.
It was really awesome. I'm very, very happy with that conversation.


And I ran into my sister on the way back from getting groceries and actually has me-related news to report. YAY! :-D


My dishes are still not washed, BUT:

I am making noodles with shrimp and seaweed for dinner
I have a big bag of grapes and a small box of grape-tomatoes for fruits and veggies in lunches this week
I have a bag of samosas, as well
I have milk
I have almond milk (for June -- it's one of the tetra-pack type, so it's good until, like, January 2010)
I have a BIG jug of orange juice! (!!!)

I am very happy about this.

I also have na'an for eating with hummus (which I already have in the fridge).


So I feel somewhat better equipt in terms of stuff to eat on week-days than I have for quite some time.


I think I'm going to do some more reading. YAY Tamora Pierce! :-D
