I had a dream about a beautiful little girl.

I think she's part of my psyche or something, and I wish I knew what bit.

This is the dream:

<*Amazon walks into a large foyer-like room that looks suspiciously like the Open Lounge on the fourth floor of Lanark House @ Carleton, except that it's double the size (or more) and has extra tables and chairs, and you can enter it from multiple sides.*>

On the other side of the room (so, directly in front of me, basically) is a girl who looks about seventeen or eighteen. Just out of highschool, basically. She looks like... Like Karolijn and Scraatch mixed together, basically. this tiny, curvy, beautiful little goth girl with black hair down to the middle of her back, streaked with Enchanted Forest Green[1].

She has big, warm, brown eyes, but I don't know that yet, 'cause she's not looking at me. What she *is* doing, is dancing.
She's dancing (with these long, graceful arm extensions) to the piped-in crappy music like she's the only person in the room.

And the thing is, she dances just like I do. To the point where I can recognize my own dancing and anticipate her movements.

So, for a couple of seconds, I dance with her, even though she doesn't know I'm there (I don't do it very well, though, because I'm carrying a paper plate of, like crackers and brownies and cheese and fruit and stuff. I think I also had a drink).

But, anyway, she turns around and sees me, and I (somehow, magically) get rid of the stuff I'm carrying.

And we talk, and we hug, and there's a whole lot of, y'know, "Oh my god, me to!" going on. (She's very smart, but she doesn't really think she is because she's got a much older brother doing a PhD in, like, Math).
And then her brother (who, for some reason, is wearing a white satin shirt, and whose face I can't really see - but he's, like, a foot taller than her - although shorter than me - I think - even though she's less than a foot shorter than me. By, like, two inches...) Anyway, her brother comes in and starts talking to her, and I'm thinking [Time to withdraw] so I brush her shoulder and say "I'm gonna head out", and she looks so sad. So I decide that I have to come back once he's gone.
And I do. :-)
And it turns out she spends some of her time in a wheelchair.
Seriously.
This little girls who stands on her feet and dances and moves every part of her body is *also* in a wheelchair (one of the big electrical ones, too).
How did that happen???

It's that - the dichotomy between being so free that you can move like nobody's watching you, and then being so trapped that your own body can't move... That, combined with the way she dances, are what makes me think she's part of my own mind.

So I need to find out who she is. :-)

Anyway, I just needed to write that down. :-)

[EDIT: In other news: I have successfully (apparently) sent money, via paypal, to Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. The should arrive within about a week of Xmas... I hope. ;-)

My Order

O: The honey, amber, vanilla scent that I adore (along with everybody else, apparently). I'm getting a big bottle of that one. :-)

Plus Imps of:

Hecate: Buttery almond, myrrh and dark musk.

Eat Me: Batter/Cookies & vanilla + red and black currants.

Loviatar: Black amber, red musk and dark myrrh.

Skuld: Ylang ylang, honey, Egyptian and Arabian musks and labdanum.

Gluttony: chocolate, vanilla, butter-cream, hops, pralines, hazelnut, toffee and caramel.

La Petite Morte: Amber, vanilla, myrrh, ylang ylang.

I suspect that "Gluttony" will be just fine - given the way Hellcat worked on me. Unless the hops are super-bitter or something, this one should be just fine.
Vanilla and Myrrh both seem to work well on me, and amber doesn't seem to hurt either (not that I have buckets of BPAL experience with any of these, mind you). So, with any luck, they'll all work out beautifully.
We'll see how the various musks work out on me, though. :-)

<*waits by the door with baited breath*>]

- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)

[1] And that, my friends, would be a Julia Vyse reference, right there.
