Greetings!

I wore makeup for the first time since June 4th today.

Good thing it's waterproof, as I ended up crying (briefly) in - big shock - the bathroom at work, after being asked (via email, thankfully) whether or not I thought Paul and I would be able to be friends in the long run.

Oi vey...

Still, it was nice to hear from Ms. Sarah, as I haven't seen her since, well, June 4th, actually.

But, yes. I wore mascara today. And "eat me" perfume (mmm... maybe I *will* make that lemony-vanilla-and-berries cake... it would work so well... Perhaps a triffle, since I've got white chocolate and almond-flavoured silken tofu to work with... :-)

Note to Torrain: Lush has a coffee-tobacco-martini bubble-bar (called "The Wuss") that might or might not suit the BPAL scents you like. I think it's only available online, though. That said, I figured I'd throw it out there.

I plan to go and see The Dark Knight tonight (if we can get tickets) with my sister. Handily, we both have gift-cards to use. :-)
Our plan is to see the 9pm showing (gods, when did I return to age four? It seems ludacrisly late to be going out... What is *wrong* with me??). I'm quite looking forward to it.

On a less-good note: I have no contract for monday. I *do* have that job interview, but no contract to go to afterwords. Hopefully they will find something for me quickly. (Have sent updated resumes to Excel HR and Office Team, in the hopes of getting nibbles from them, too).

I've found myself a bunch of Canadian poetry to read over the weekend:

Night Echoes by Ronnie R. Brown
Movements in Jars by Meghan Jackson
Praying with the Women Mystics by Mary T. Malone
Intimate Distances by Fiona Tinwei Lam
Inward to the Bones by Kate Braid
Plus a collection of contemporary Aboriginal poetry.

Whee! :-D

I got off work at 2pm today (and yet was paid for the whole day, how awesome) because my supervisor left early and said: "Just go home whenever you want, that's no problem. I'm not gonna be here."

So, sweet. :-)

Anyway, I've got one or two more appartments to bug people about and, as such, I must dash. :-)
