So I had a look at the apartment in The Crystal Arms.

It's small.

Smaller than I expected.

I could, I think, have my dining room table and chairs and, maybe, my couch. Most, but not all, of my bookshelves. My china cabinet could, indeed, fit in the kitchen. The bedroom could house the bed, the bedside tables and the dresser, but not the armoire. There is virtually *no* in-apt. storage (and, while each 1-bedroom and each bachelor gets a storage locker it *is* a locker -- that is, it's a cupboard, not a closet, let alone a very little room) - as such there'd be no space to house any kind of portable washing machines (dishes or clothing, let alone both).

The balcony is spacious. The view is nice (and overlooks a bunch of crab apple trees, so I would have Pretty Blossoms in the spring and jelly in the autumn, if I were so inclined). The location is excellent.
But the apartment is still too small.
I don't want to have to pay for storage in addition to $795+hydro rent every month. :-P
Basically, I could deal with it, if I had to, but I don't want to have to. :-/

<*sigh*>

The search, I suppose, continues. :-P
