I got an e-mail from MADD in my in-box this morning.
These things make me angry.

They sent me a god-awful morality "poem" about a kid who got killed by a drunk driver, and then proceeded to tell me to sign my name and pass the petition on, without telling me what I was signing my name *to*.
Isn't *that* intelligent.
And they told me that, should I choose to delete this garbage instead of plauging someone else with it, that my "selfishness [would be] beyond words".

They didn't even tell me what "cause" I'd have been supporting if I signed. Of *course* I'm not going to put my name to something if I don't know what it is I'm signing! Who would? (Apparently about 500 people, my own mother, who is usually smarter than this, included. <*sigh*>).

Anyway, this sort of thing really bothers me.

For some reason it puts me in mind of the trolls who say things like "if you choose not to respond to me (and my obvious bating), I will simply assume that you are nothing but a mindless herd-follower who is submitting to peer-pressure".

Or the flamers who tear you apart and then say something like "maybe you'll take this badly and decide not to talk to me ever again [even though I've just told you in no uncertain terms that I think you're ideas are invalid, that I don't support what you're doing, despite complaining that no-one supports similar ideas and endeavors, and have finished by saying we have nothing in common], but I hope you won't".
(Thus implying that the flamer is the "grown up" and, should I choose not to reply, I am being childish and pouting because I'm "not getting my way").

That stuff makes me mad.

However. I'll get over it. :-)

Besides, I get to have fresh (Fresh!! :-) pineapple for lunch today! :-) Yay! :-)

Thanks for the loverly pot-luck last night, Rhianna! :-)
I like your new place. :-)
It was nice to see everybody again. :-) (And I'm glad my pilaf worked out. :-)
