Picked up hairdye yesterday. One of the Feria ones, I think. A plum colour that, with any luck, will give me somewhat purple-ish hair.

The plan is to dye it tonight. :-D Kind of want to do the hot bath + toenail polish etc. thing, as well. :-)

In other news: Sara continues to pack up and downsize her stuff. She's got a fancy big table (glass top + two marble pedistal-legs -- comes apart for easy storage) that she wants to get rid of, among other things. (I've asked her to email me a list that I can toss up here in the hopes of finding buyers -- or at least off-her-hands-takers -- more easily).
Have been re-reading Kathryn Payne's poetry book. Want to go poking in my Rhonda Douglas and Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha as well.
I need to remember how to write in poems.
Friday: Due to the cancelation of the party in Shawville (alas), Sara will be going swing-dancing on Friday night. I will be going to Umi for poetry (provided that I've actually written anything!!!) and then to the Vimy Karaoke Fundraiser (at the Shanghai, hosted by Miz China Doll -- starts at 9:30pm). Miz Sara may end up joining me there, depending on how late the swing dancing goes (or joining me at Umi, depending on when said dancing starts).
Am looking forward to this evening. :-D
