So, it's been an eventful few weeks. :-)
I am now the happy, if somewhat stressed and nervous, owner (with the Bank of Mom) of a townhouse condo in Huntclub. :-)

I'm still searching for tenants. So if anyone knows of a quiet, reliable, employed, honest, non-smoker who is looking for a place to life for a semester or two (or three), send them my way. It's $400/month + a share of the utilities. :-)
I just spent the weekend with my Sweetheart. :-)
He is and always will be the love of my life. :-)
Our first anniversary is coming up in... about three days. :-)

We went up to his family cottage (with his family). Hehe. The romantic weekend we were hoping for did not exactly turn out as planned -- First I got sick (possibly food poisoning, possibly something else), and then he did. (Which is why I think it might have been something else).
However I'm quite on the mend, and he's well on his way and will probably be fine by tomorrow afternoon, if not a little earlier.
Anywhoo. I just thought I'd take this moment to re-assure you all that I am, indeed, still alive and kicking, albeit living a somewhat hermit-like existence over here. :-)
On the plus side, while the squirels have been eating most of the seeds that I plant, I *have* mannaged to get four or five squash plants, half a dozen pea plants, four beans, and six or seven cucumbers (and some sunflowers) to get get past the seed stage and am looking forward to watching them grow. :-)
I'm hoping to sprout more squash (and pumpkins!), and some cantaloups inside -- The squirels have lost their fear of coming up on the mini-deck, and so my secondary squash seeds have been the victims of munching while I was away.
Alas.
But hopefully things will still happen. :-)
Anywhoo. I'm off to hang up more stuff and unpack more books. :-)
