H'Okay...
So, Paul finally remembered what his best friend's fiance looks like. Hurrah! So I can now start work on their Choupah-Patch humerous portrate. (I confess, I'm still not totally sold on the idea, and am entertaining the idea of doing a double-sided patch, so that the happy couple can have which-ever side they prefer showing, and hide the other side, but I think that might be nasty... I dunno...)
Anyway. So today I am shopping for pipe-cleaners, and other do-dads with which to decorate this patch.
I may or may not be going to work. I have to phone in three hours and find out. (I'm guessing no, just because business has been pretty dead all week, and tomorrow is the long weekend, so a lot of people will be gone).
I also want to make muffins and/or fruit salad for the cottage trip. :-)
I may have to pay a visit to home depot again. I didn't bother getting rollers the last time I went out, I just got foamy paint brushes from the craft store. As such, the paint on the cupboard doors looks pretty streaky. But I want to get that done before we go tomorrow afternoon, so that it will have a couple of days to "cure" while we're gone. (That way, I can spray a top-coat on the counter, if I am so-inclined -- although I don't think I'll need to do that).
I finally got to have a good, hour-long chat with my friend, Amanda, last night. :-) It was really good to talk to her again. :-) Hopefully we'll get to do it in person before too long. ;-) She's going to York (in September) to study... Environmental Studies (I *think*!) in order to be a city planner. How cool is that? :-)
I've got to have a shower now, and eat something. There is lots to do today, and I may or may not have time to do it. :-)
- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
