Well, I just printed out my teaching resume (on my snazzy 100% post-consumer recycled resume paper). Here's hoping they're impressed. (More by the resume than the paper, obviously).
In other news: I got a random cheque for $28 today. Who knew?
So there's grocery money for next week. :-) Score! :-)
My Gods take care of me. :-D Woohoo! :-D They Rock! :-)
On that note, I also got a letter from Revenue Canada saying that they couldn't process my tax forms untill they got a few more forms from me, including a statement of my property taxes for 2004, plus that T2202 form from U of O. So, I've got to photocopy the property taxes form, but otherwise everything is pretty much set to go. (Here's hoping that I somehow manage a tax refund. That would be nice. :-)
On a completely different note: I purchased, a few months ago, three hundred blank business cards with little silver spirals down the left-hand side of them. It has occured to me that I could easily sacrifice 40 or 50 of these business cards to the cause of my wedding invitations.
See, we (of course) will be including RSVP cards with the invitations.
The invitations are going to be light blue hand-made-paper-with-bits-of-leaf-in, with the actual words being printed on that white "vellum" (semi-see-through paper) stuff, which is tied to the blue paper with a light blue or silver ribbon. (That being said, I have some royal blue, semi-sheer ribbon that would probably work just fine, and it would mean we don't have to buy more ribbon).
So, I figure that little white cards with silver spirals would be somewhat matching and easy to write on. :-)
So. I just have to figure out if there's a business card template on either of my word processing programs, and then see what I can come up with for a short-and-sweet RSVP card that includes a mention of the dinner options. :-)
I think I'll do that now. :-)
- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
