So.
There was this highschool student named Jeremy Dias.
He tried to start a GLBTQ club at his highschool, but his highschool wouldn't let him.
He took his school to court for discrimination.
And won.

Now. Jer is not your average highschool student. He is a Force of Nature. As such, he did not use the money from the court victory to buy a new stereo system, or even to pay his first year of tuition.
Instead, he founded a scholarship.

The scholarship, Jer's Vision, is Canada's first national anti-discrimination scholarship for youth.

The scholarship is being launched with an inaugural gala called "A Trip to Wonderland": A pageant of food, music, art, fashion, and entertainment of all sorts.

Featuring performances by: The B-Girlz, Deb/Dirk, Ginette Bobo, Lori Jean, Ivan (the fire-breathing non-reptilian Dragon), and lots more. :-D

It all happens tomorrow, Saturday, October 15th.
Location: Suite 34 (34 Clarence. Doors at 6pm, Show starts at 7pm).
Tickets: $10 (students), $25 (regular), or $40 (VIP) available at After Stonewall and Venus Envy. You can also request them by e-mailing jersvision@yahoo.ca

I urge you all to attend, because it will be awesome! :-D
