Well... I've been up for about half an hour.
My head's a bit fuzzy (sleep dep -- perhaps. ;-)
Ami_B had a lovely part last night, and I got to see Anna, who I hadn't seen in *ages*, as well as lots of other people who I've seen relatively recently, but not nearly recently enough. :-)
There was champagne and pizza and wonderful discussions about the nature of faith and the different writers discuss/portray the relationship between humans and deities. Also, Ami called me brilliant, which totally made my night, as she's pretty brilliant herself. :-)
Ami's book sounds totally cool, by the way. I urge you all to buy it when it gets published. :-)
The concept is: What happens to an imaginary world when its creators forget about it?
(And my brain, of course, travels down the road of "If the Gods forot about us, what would happen to our world?" This question, of course, needs to be predicated on the idea that the Gods aren't an intrinsic part of this world...)
Which brings me to: Creeping Bell Flowers (white ones, no less -- I'm used to seeing purple ones) have found their way into my yard. Woohoo! :-) I'm hoping I'll get wild lupins soon enough (although who can say). :-)
Anywhoo.
I'm delighted. :-)
I have a couple of beans sprouting out of the ground (hopefully more will follow) and my squash is totally taking off (as is Ami's, apparently. Yay! :-)
And I vacuumed yesterday. Ra! My floors are clean! :-) I feel much better. :-)
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
