So... The job-hunt is still, er, fruitless. :-P
Have applied for an admin position at Carletion (because you don't need French to work there, and I'm not that confident in my French). We'll see what happens.
I've e-mailed Maxsys, telling them that I'd like to register with their agency. Hopefully something will come of this (if only some innitial contact).
We'll see how that works out. :-)
In the mean time: Paul is getting discouraged. See, along with aromatherapy and nutritional counciling and such like, he does touch-healing. Unfortunately, he's only 100% successful on that front about half the time, so he's feeling very discouraged about it. (He gets discouraged so easily... It's kind of maddening to tell you the truth... Like if he isn't 100% perfect 100% of the time, then he may as well not bother at all. Not that this doesn't sound familiar, but still. ;-) Anyway, so he may end up staying at the miserable, soul-destroying accademy for a while longer.
Which I really, *really* don't want. Even though it would be a steady pay-cheque (see above -- I'd kind of thought I'd be bringing in a steady, large (comparatively), pay-cheque by now... hahaha, apparently), he'd still be in a very toxic place. I don't want him in there. >:-(
Anyway.
I still have tastey bread and ripening squash, so that, at least, is good. :-)
- TTFN,
- Amazon.
