<*whithering sigh*>

So. I ordered one of Paul's presents online.
I ordered it at the begining of December.

My statement said "takes 4-14 days to ship".

I assumed that meant that it would be here by Dec. 21st, with plently of time to wrap it for Dec. 25th.

On Dec. 20th, I get an e-mail. "Your order is in the mail. Takes 4-14 days to ship".

<*bangs head on wall*>

Today, it finally arrived.

The Muppet Christmas Carol.

I am delighted, I can finally give him his present.

I open up the shipping box, only to find:

Gah! I ordered it in *German*!!! What the hell? I don't recall the title being listed in *German* on the order-site!

Ack!!!

I'm going to check the order-confirmation e-mails to see if I just skipped the part about it being in German.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck...

That's all for now. >:-P

Well, I checked my confirmation e-mails.

There's no indidcation that I ordered a movie in German.

The title is listed as "The Muppet Christmas Carol", not "Die Muppets Weihnachtsgeschichte" -- You'd think I'd have noticed something like that, wouldn't you?

Anyway. I've written a note to Caiman.com (don't work with these people, I'm not impressed), and I've saved a copy of it, so that I know what I've written.

I was polite (I think), but I didn't mince words.

I've told them what happened, and I've asked them to send me an English copy (aka: the one I paid for) and to cover the costs of my sending the German copy back to them (seeing as this is their mistake).

Hopefully they'll be good about this. :-)

- Nam'ara,
