Hello, all.

Well, I'm currently writing a paper on Women's Altars. It's an interesting subject. :-)

So, the random-update (that none of you really need to know, but that I'm posting anyway -- because I want to stop typing about altars for a few minutes):

Pages needed: 20-25
Pages typed: 13 (plus a few lines on P. 14, but they don't count yet).

Subjects left to cover: 4.

So... At two pages (typed, double-spaced) each, that will give me anothe eight pages, bringing me to 21 pages, plus a conclusion about Altars as "agents of empowerment".

What has this project made me want to do:
- Clean my altar (needs some dusting)
- Make a tea-pot and cups out of paper-mache and seal them so that they can actually hold tea. (Does anyone know if this is possible?)
- Make a painting that involves hand-prints, bay-leaves, trailing ivy, and a snake (possibly a rubber one...)
- Make a clay "blood tea" bowl w/ a "strainer".: Standard squating lady figure (skinny, like me) w/ hollow back. Place used tampons + water into back. Allow "blood tea" to drain out of appropriate orafice into shallow (not shallow?) dish with "pouring lip". Use to water plants. This would sit in my back-yard. :-)
- Do some singing.

Not bad. :-)

- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
