And now, for a little more information than any of you actually need. :-)

Well, I went on my annual lingeree shopping trip (inspired by post-valentines day clearance sales and the bridal shower I went to on Sunday -- not for me, for one of my friends).

I got:
One slightly silly bra --> really stretchy "denim" with little rutchy ruffles and pink laces up the sides --> Cute, and $7.99 (sears) -- I think Paul will get a kick out of it. I certainly did. (It's a bit daisy-may, but I still like it).
I also got: A mauve (mauve! Wah!) lace balconet bra + matching garter-belt. Yay! :-) I quite like it. (The only unfortunate bit is that I need extra-long stockings because the garters can't be adjusted).

Still. Two bras + one garter = happy me. :-)

I also stopped at Lush yesterday and got a bunch of bath-bombs.
We finally have a bath-tub stopper that fits the drain, so I'm delighted to report that lesurely baths are now an option for me.

My collection of bath bombs now includes:
- Waving Not Drowning (from my friend Alana)
- Honey Bee (Mmm... Smells *so* divine! I love their honey-stuff!)
- Fox in the Flowers (meadow flowers and herbs, as I understand it)
- Fairy Jasmine (glitter -- eep -- not for the faint of heart)
- Softy (rose petals)
- Summer Blue (Blue flower petals and pretty smells... mmm...)

I confess, I want to try making my own. They probably wouldn't be in balls, but perhaps little decorative baggies of half-and-half powdered citric acid and baking soda + dried flowers and/or spices (and ultra-light olive oil or something). I think that could be fun. :-)

Anywhoo. My Mom's coming for dinner tonight. (It's the five-year anniversary of my Dad dying, so I'm keeping her occupied. Also, her birthday is on Friday, so I figure I'll give her a fancy dinner and a present tonight rather than Friday).
I won't be able to get down to the river today. <*sigh*> Too much else to do, and now I'm in the complete other end of town, so it's not like I can stop by on my way home, which is what I've done in years past.
But. There will be an offering made for my Dad. (Cashews on the altar, most likely), and candles and insense, of course. :-) I'm thinking of doing up a spirit-plate for him as well, since this is his death-day feast as much as it's my Mom's birthday feast.

Anywhoo. I've got to leave for work in about half an hour, and I really need to eat breakfast. (And chop some veggies for tonight).

- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
