Paul is feeling sick. He was loosing his voice last night. (Although I was able to help bring it back a bit -- Yay energy healing! -- Sometimes I can do it. ;-)

I've been asked to make a recording of some songs (one by Sarah McLauchlin, one by Cindy Lauper, and a few others -- I don't know what yet) for the funeral of my Aunt's brother-in-law. He's dying of Pancreatic cancer, the way my Dad did. <*Waahhhhhh!*>

I've been feeling mopey and clingy lately. Hm. Paul was asking if anything was wrong, last night, because of it. And I said "Yes, but I don't know what it is", and that I was worried that I might need therapy or something. (But I don't *want* therapy!) He says I should go see his friend Bernadet, who is really good at getting inside your head and fixing things. Which is good. I'd like to find out how she works, anyway. I'd like to meet her more casually, first, though.

In other news: I went to Charles de Lint's garage sale after all. :-)

I got seven books -- mostly kids/young adult books including including two of the Spiderwick Chronicles (about kids who mess around with the Faerie people) and Ecstasia and Primavera (Francesca Lia Bloc), plus a China Melville book because I keep hearing good things about China Melville's writing. :-)

I also got two CDs: "The Wheel Turns Round", which is *really* folky Pagan music. (I confess, I don't like it that much -- I'd rather have something with a bit more grace -- But the "Harvest Time" song is really nice -- I can imagine singing that with my kids) Perhaps I'll treat it like a kids album or something, then. ;-)
The other one (whose name I can't remember) also looks like it might be Pagan music, perhaps a bit more Celtic in feel, but we shall see. Hopefully it will be better than "The Wheel". :-)

Anywhoo. I've got to leave for work soon, so I'll be off for breakfast now.
:-)
