I have a song in my head.

It is a song written by my sister when she was in about the 9th grade.

It's about a guy who is, quite possibly, a paper bag. I think his name was Ed. And it follows his relationship with a girl named Ivy, the Recyclable Aluminum Can, who breaks up with him, at which point he eats a lot of ice-cream and feels depressed.

It's fun, but wierd. (And I don't remember much of it. Just the bit about Ivy and the icecream. It's going through my head on a repeated loop. ;-)

Anyway. On that note:

Paul and I went to see "Rock and Roll" at the GCTC last night with Paul's family. It was a lot of fun.
It's a musical about being in a rock band in the mid 1950s in really-really-small-town Nova Scotia.
It includes a character who basically looks like the Fonze with a lot of glitter on his shoes. (The "Spirit of Rock and Roll", I guess, as a person who was actually alive -- in small-town Nova Scotia).

And another character who has very frank, and rather funny discussions with the God of the Presbyterian Church (Whose grandparents were Jewish).

It's a good play. :-)

In other news: Today is Charles de Lint's garage sale. (9:30am-1:30pm, on Niagara Drive, just off Kilbourn). I'm debating whether to go or not. (The tired from last night has not yet worn off, you see, and I don't *Really* need more books). So, we'll see what happens. :-)

- Nam'ara,
- Amazon. :-)
