Venue Hunting and the Money Monster

Which sounds *almost* like a story-line for a loans commercial... How appropriate.

Well, I feel pulled in all dirrections. Let's start with that.
Paul wants a coctail reception, possibly without any chairs -- or at least with as few as possible.
Mom wants a sit-down dinner, possibly with coctails before the ceremony (which, I admit, would be kind of nice), and some sort of a semi-hosted bar, but she thinks we can get it -- and everything else related to the wedding (including invitations, officiant, clothing, etc) -- for no more than $5,000.
I don't actually know what Paul's parents want, but they *did* want to check out the Chateau Laurier --> And now I think my Mom thinks that they're snobs or something because of it.
