I keep getting "Nano-nano" in my head to the old Batman theme song.
Nanonanonanonano
Nanonanonanonano
Bat-yyyyyy! Bat-yyyyyy!
You get the idea. :-)
I went to a write-in last night. It was at Michelle's house.
I have confirmed that I do not go to write-ins to write. I'm much better at getting things written when I don't have loud chatty people around to be loud and chatty with (and also when I have a computer to do the writing on... I am happily laptopless, but it means that my already slow writing is slowed further by the fact that I'm doing it by hand).
I have decided that, in fact, I go to write-ins (A) for feed-back, and (B) to see Ami_B.
I spent about three (out of four-and-a-half) hours of write-in time sitting on the kitchen floor with Ami chatting about Stuff -- mostly story-related stuff (thus handily combining reasons A and B) -- but also random other Stuff (often brought up by other folks who wandered into the kitchen, much to my totally unwaranted annoyance -- sorry, ladies).
Anyway.
Things to do today:
1) Write a minimum of 2000 words. Finishing the kssing scene, and the scene I wrote last night (about the Book and Fox coming clean about knowing how to write), and doing the scene between Alex and "Celia", should (in theory) fit that bill quite nicely. :-)
2) Attempt to burn a CD of the chosen wedding photos -- which (in theory) I'll be able to figure out -- and get a couple of photos printed at Future Shop (my boss's boss is coming to visit the store on Tuesday, and wants to see my wedding photos -- so I figure if I print off, like, three, she'll be satisfied. The rest can wait an extra day or three if they have to).
3) Do laundry.
In other news: I'm thinking of getting the new AFI CD. I like the singles they've put out, so why not? :-)
That's all from me. :-)
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
