Nano Word Count Wierdness. And other stuff. :-)

Today, I print (some of) my wedding photos.
Probably at Shoppers Drug Mart.

My boss's boss wants to see them, so I figure... Meh. I'll print about three (maybe five) and bring them in to show off. :-) Done! :-D

So that shouldn't be too difficult. :-) (Pardon me whilst I knock on wood). None the less, I'm leaving quite early to get it done. (I'll be out of hear in about fifteen minutes).


I discovered that I've got a major word-count discrepency going on -- either I missed a significant chunk of story when I pasted all my story files together, or else I counted a couple of scenes twice, but I had an eight-hundred (or so) word difference between my 'official order of story' file and my word-count file.

So, I wrote the extra words (754, if I remember correctly) as a scene between Alex and an un-named (sort of) Urban Seelie (made of electricity), and made up my word-count.
In the past hour, I've added another... 363 to that, which puts me at... 20,983 (according to me) and so, probably... 20,963 or so with the verifyer. (I suspect).

And now it's time for me to go. :-)

P.S.: How does one use photobucket, and is it insanely easy? (For a ludite like myself, I mean). :-)

I'm currently trying to upload wedding photos to photobucket.
We'll see how well that goes. (Possibly trying to upload twenty pictures at once was a bad idea...)
<*drums fingers, waiting for high speed internet connection to start living up to its name*>
In theory, I will soon be able to share my wedding pictures with all and sundry. Woohoo! :-)

In other news: I printed out seven pictures at the shopper's drugmart this morning -- shoppers drugmart, like future shop, does 4x6 (standard photo size) shots for $0.29 a pop, and they're quite nice. :-) Just for future reference. I like that you can go in and do it yourself -- although, for all I know, you can do that at Future Shop as well. :-)


In still other news: I picked up the new AFI album ("December Underground") today. I have to say that, apparently, there is not a single bad song on the whole thing. I highly recommend to everybody. Go forth and enjoy their excellent work. :-)

In other news: I'm having difficulty making icons from my wedding pictures (so far only one of three has worked. Blast it!) I keep getting the message that it can't resize the image down. Any suggestions?

Also: My Mom (back from Australia) dropped off a pretty birthday present for me: I am now the happy and delighted owner of a black opal pendant (Black opal, by the way, is largly blue) it has just a liiiitle bit of fire at the top. It is pretty. :-) I like it. :-D

Anyway. I've written... 547 (or so) words since I got home (at 4pm, er...) so I'm going to nip back and write some more. :-)
