Okay, so bit of news number-one:
I had an interview with a temp agency today.
I have been informed that I am ulikely to get much of anything while I am still employed at Cleo.
This is something to think about, especially since what I'm making at Cleo is... about $100/week, and if I got two full days of $10/h work/week doing temp work, I'd be making $150/week (depending on the length of the days).
So...
I think I need to have a talk with Paul. Among other things.
But I may be giving up the retail gig if this is really the way things are going.
But. Baking:
I've been baking all afternoon.
I made cookies, and a pumpkin pie with a pecan-caramel crust (spring-form pan, how I love the!), and I've got a pumpkin custard in the oven right now (due out in about... half an hour).
Still to make:
Cranberry-Apricot cheesecakes
Vegan Kentucky Velvet mint squares
Glueten-Free cherry-chocolate-almond trifle
Squash puff (four of them this year, but I only need to make one before Saturday)
Roasted Root Veggies
Steamed Broccoli
and
Bread (which is currently on its first rising)
I can do this! :-D
But most of it will happen *tomorrow*, after I've picked up my mom's present (from my sister) from the GCTC after work.
But: I can still do this! :-D
