Happy Summer Solstice, everyone. :-D
I shall be planting little purple flowers in my garden this evening. (Sage and one other thing, but I can't remember what it was). I picked them up at the Home Despot last night - went looking for a blueberry bush, but the three they had left all looked rather sick and, uh, dead. Dry twigs in pots, for the most part. So I shall go back in early July to see if they have some new stock in. :-)
I wouldn't mind picking up one of those hardy pink rugosa roses from Canadian Tire (although this means getting out to Canadian Tire again, which is slightly out of my way) It would (also) mean finding space in my garden for a great, thorny rose bush. Hahahaha. Easier said than done. Not that I'm complaining about my lush wonderful jungle of a garden, mind you. :-)
Also, on my journey of shopping yesterday:
I got a bathing suit that will actually be comfortable. Yay! (A set of trunks from the men's department in Old Navy - they are black, with some sort of pink-and-grey design on one of the legs. Pity the design isn't blue. It would go better with the top of my old bathing suit. None the less, it will do the trick, and I will no-longer have to deal with a suit that doesn't fit my hips. Yay! :-)
AND
From the same place, I got a skirt. A pretty, pretty, black-on-black striped eyelet-y flouncy cotton skirt with, like, crocheted trim and everything.
Sadly, they only had small or extra-small. the small fits, but is a tad tight through the hips.
This is easy to fix, though, by just putting in a new track for the draw-string slightly lower down. :-)
I shall wear it to work today. :-D
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
