What I did today:

- Continued the editing/re-writing of Ray's Essay (curses upon it, but not until it's the hell out of my hair).

- Tried on clothes at work. Damn. I like too much of the current collections. ;-) Currently eyeing: A subtle plaid (black/grey) A-line skirt (very Sexy Librarian, to my mind), a wine-and-black striped pull-over (vaguely reminiscent of the one that the alcoholic French woman wore in "Casablanca", but not totally), and (big shock) yet another camisol - this one in wine. (I love camies. What can I say?) Mmm... Materialism.

- Watched "The Matrix: Revolutions" (finally). <*am now trying to figure out how to re-write the ending so that Trin gets out alive, if heartbroken... not quite sure how to do that yet... But, hey, I've got a lot of ground to cover before that happens ;-) *>
Note: The Smith/Neo fight makes a lot more sense now that I understand the in-story reason is for it. When I saw it in the theatre, I just thought it was a "hey let's have a really huge fight scene" thing that didn't have much point to it within the plot. And now I know. :-) Yay. :-)

- Killed two flies that managed to get into the house (I don't know how they got in. But they are surely dead now. Poor buggers).

- Continued on the boot-making project (also finally). Boot #1 has now been re-cut so that it opens down the front, and has a zipper in place. (Turns out 22" is the measurement from the ball of my foot (beginning of the toe-cap) to my knee. So good for all of that. :-)
I still need to sort out how to put the leg supports in, and the foot-upper is going to need (A) a bunch of gluing, and (B) some extra stitching, but the hard parts are, for the most part, finished. (For this boot, at least). :-)

I have not yet dyed my hair.
The essay is still not finished. This second one, at least, doesn't bother me in the slightest. I re-wrote 11 and a bit pages this morning. I can re-write the other nine tomorrow. :-)
