So, I went up to Produce Depot today, for to get myself a bunch of stuff that I only really get the chance to eat when Paul isn't around. :-)
I picked up:
1 cut of beef shank
1 tin of coconut milk
1 mango
2 fuyu persimons (mmmm...)
1 pint of black figs
1 pint of ground cherries
1 plastic bag of sugar snap peas
(Considered but left behind: 1 huge avocado, 3 pluots, & 1 pomegranate).

So.
In the oven we have, right now:
Coconut-curry chicken w/ sweet potatoes and Thai red rice.
Coconut-curry sauce:
1 tin coconut milk
1/2 C orange-mango juice
1 tbsp curry powder
2 dashes cayenne pepper
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger (ground)
1 pinch of dried basil
I've got it in the oven at 200F, and we'll see how it goes from there. :-)
