A strange thing to complain about, perhaps, but I have got way too much fucking PIE. Seriously.
I have 3/4 of a sugar pie (made by my sister) and 3/4 of a pumpkin pie. And 3C of whipping cream, just waiting to be whipped.

I sense a pie-eating party in the near future, I think.
Perhaps next Saturday? I don't know.

My spiffy, spiffy printer is now set up and functional. Woohoo! :-D

I have yet to try out my new tarot cards (the Osho Zen set that I admired so much at Lorrayne's).

The rest of xmas was, well, jewelery-riffic, to say the least (onyx and lapis lazuli pendants, as well a a nifty silver collar-thing upon-which was hung a (less-nifty, but still pretty) copper-and-leaf-green glass pendant. I've taken the glass pendant off and am using the collar to hold my other pendants as I see fit. :-)
I also got the We'Moon day-planner. Score! :-D

I've been looking through the Canadian Tire online catalogue for a new desk for my office, and a closet-organizer and a bunch of other stuff. The clutter in my house is seriously starting to drive me utterly mad. I figure, if I can switch things around in the bedroom, I can actually *access* my closet and, thus, re-organize it. That would be really good. As would a desk that was perpetually threatening to fall apart.

Xmas dinner with my family is tonight, starting at 5:30 7:00.
I confess, I'm really angry at my mom right now. Probably without much cause. Possibly because my blood sugar goes all to hell (too high, too low, yo-yo-ing all over the place) at this time of year.
She said she'd have dinner read for 5:30. Which would mean I'd actually be able to hang around with my family while everyone digests stuff.
<*sigh*>

Nice thing: Paul just gave me a much-needed hug. It was nice. I'm smiling a little more now. :-)

I tried the last of my imps - Twilight and Vampire Tears - as well as re-trying La Petite Morte and Laudanum.
LPM isn't totally terrible, but the other three are all pretty awful, I'm sad to say. Laudanum smells like ashes and charcoal. Twilight smells like Horrible Cheap Alcohol-Based Perfume on me, and Vampire Tears, while no where near as bad as Twilight, still went all pefume-y as hell on me.

So. That's that done. Pity so many of them didn't work out.

<*listens to Annie*> She calms me down. That's good. :-)

We're going to head over to dinner in about half an hour.

Tomorrow is work again.
I don't particularly want to go. :-P
