I got a new watch today.
It has a black band and a white face w/ silver.
It is fully functional.
Thank goodness.
I also tried to pick up the fourth box of flatware the we registered for last July. Sadly, it appears the pattern has been discontinued.
It fucking figures.
So I have to see if I can hunt it up in the remnants from somewhere else around town, or from Oneida dirrectly.
Buggerbuggerbuggerbuggerbugger.
Because we have 16 place-settings of dishes, and only 12 place-settings of flatware.
This is, for me, a very major (in a really wierd way) problem.
"My place-settings should all match!" she wailed.
Yada yada yada.

I also got three black shirts from work.
Two tank tops (one with apliquees along the neckline, and one with nifty shoulder details -- both of them are 100% cotton! Yay! Cotton!) and one button-up shirt - it is also 100% cotton, and very light-weight. It comes with a (100% polyester :-P) camisol to wear underneath, but I think I'll wear it over something else that is cotton, instead.
Once again: Three cheers for the cotton! Hurrah! Yahoo! Woopee! :-D
In other news: I'm thinking of taking the heavy trim off my dancing veil, because the weight is making it really hard to get the thing to float properly. I can't only keep it from wacking me in the head if I get going quite fast. Which doesn't look all that pretty, alas.
So the trim may go away. (It seems to have been added post-hemming, which will make things significantly easier. :-)
In further other news: I have submitted this story to Ultimate Lesbian Erotica 2008. It might or might not get picked, but we shall see. :-) (See? That bit was interesting, wasn't it?) :-)
In still further other news: I will be going down to New Brunswick (Fredrickton) to see my brother graduate and get his degree. Yay for him! :-) So I'll be away for a big chunk of next week. (How ever will I survive without you all? <*wipes away a shining tear*>) I get to hang out with my sibling. :-) So that should be fun. :-) (I also get to unload some unwanted dishes onto my brother. Hurrah! Don't I wish I could unload, say, a huge wooden bed on him, too... But, alas, for that is not to be.).
Oh, well. :-)
