Our Upcoming Anniversary. And Stuff. :-)

Believe it or not, I was cold last night.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Sticky from the humidity, but coldcoldcold due to the two fans we had going for the sake of Paul having half a chance to get any sleep at all.
<*sigh*>

'Tis a bit odd/unfortunate/funny/strange to be sharing a bed with someone who prefers the ambient temperature so much lower than I do.

Paul: Yay! Colder!
Me: <*wears flannel and glares*>

OR

Me: Yay! Heat! <*sprawls in the warm*>
Paul: Aargh! Nooooooooooooooo! <*makes frustrated noises*>

(I think we need that de-humidifyer back. Unfortunately since it was my mom's in the first place, I doubt that'll happen. Perhaps that's what the last of our Bay GCs will go towards. That'd work. :-)


In other news:

It has been decided: For our Anniversary (one week from Saturday) Paul and I are going to The Works. :-D (I've never been, but keep hearing wonderful, wonderful things about it, and Paul has been once or twice, and confirms everything I've heard. So that will be our casual Dining Out experience for our Wedding1/Together4 anniversary. :-D

Now all I need to do is figure out what the hell to get him.

Blast. Winter!Event gifts? Birthday gifts? no problem. Anything that is tinged with 'momentous occasion' or 'romance' vibes? I go all to pieces and have no idea what to do.
It's very dumb.

I'm thinking some sort of book. :-) As such, I think I will swing by Singing Pebble or something on the way home from work today and see what they've got. :-)
