Wah!
Snow!

In other news: I printed out Bernadette's poems (two copies, by accident - Dammit! Almost $60 for the set. Fuck), so I can drop those off to her when next I'm in her neck of the woods. :-)
The gal at the Staples counter was having a much rougher day than I was (her car broke down on Baseline road. During rush hour. And she can't afford to get it fixed, on top of that), so I gave her a mini mars bar that I had in my purse. In theory, this made her feel a little better. (It definitely made *me* feel a little better, so I'm happy about that, at any rate).

I have been successfully uploading CDs to my computer files. Yay! :-) I've got "The Bee Keeper" and "Tales of a Librarian" uploaded for my convenience. :-) Hurrah for Tori! :-D

I had my job interview today.
It went from 1:30 to 1:45 and it was easy.
The lady who interviewed me, her English is about as good as my French. So I felt fairly at ease because I knew that, when I spoke French to her, she'd know that we were about the same, linguistically (and, thus, would not be thinking, like, "Pathetic Anglo! I speak your language fluently, why can't you speak mine just as well???" Which, while a valid question, might result in me not getting this job).
Anyway. She gave me an overview of what it is I'd be doing (if I get it - which I probably will, although there's one other person being interviewed), and I said that I was confident doing proof-reading and checking my own work and so-on. Plus I read French better than I speak it (or at least reading it gives me the chance to go over it twice before responding ;-) so I'm not too worried about checking to make sure that French and English paragraphs say the same thing.
Anyway, I think it went well.
She says I'll have an answer by the end of the day. So Yay! :-) Here's hoping it's the answer of "Yes, you're hired. Can you start December 10th?" :-D 'Cause that would be perfect! :-D
Think good thoughts for me? :-D
