Today is Slasher's Brunch. Except that is is actually 'lunch'.
Perhaps (or not) I'll eat something before I go, and just order a dessert. :-)
I am starting to get the nerve to look at my Nano novel again.
I can't help thinking that I may have to go back to the 'flashbacks' idea again, but I'm not sure. The story is set over quite a number of years, y'see, and I wonder if that would make it awkward to read.
Hrm.
Also wondering if I should (A) re-write it in First Person, and/or (B) do alternating chapters - some from Kit's perspective, some from Nita's. In particular it would give me a chance to sit inside Nita's head during the months between leaving Kit and going back to her, which might be helpful. I dunno.

I'll have to read the damn thing, first, I think. ;-)
In other news: I slipped on the ice yesterday and landed flat on my back.
My first thought was: "Okay, my head doesn't hurt. That's a good sign."
Which gives you a good idea of what the fall was like.
I think I jarred my right shoulder a lot more than I thought I did, though, 'cause it's *really* hurting today. :-P
Boo. :-P
On the plus side: I get to go shopping this afternoon. :-)
Ami_B and I are going to hit up Michael's and Canadian Tire and who-knows where else getting stuff for various projects. :-) Which means I must wander off to (A) shower, and (B) take some measurements of paintings.
And determine what beads I'm going to get. :-)
(I'm having Ideas for another necklace, this one for someone with a birthday coming up. ;-)
In other news: Looking into Blaqk Audio (an electronic side project by two of the boys from AFI), just to see what they're like. :-)
