Dear Readers,
I think I have a problem. I came out an hour+ later after spending a *lot* (for me) of money.
:-\
(Good thing I got paid yesterday, I must say).
Now I have red and green and yellow round beads ('fossil', jade and onyx, respectively) as well as some chunky mahogany obsidian. And a bag of crimps, and some more toggle-things, and Stuff Like That There.
Eek. :-\
Part of me wants to try selling this stuff.
Part of me is, like, "Uhm... I'm *really* new at this, and, ah... learning and... gods, I don't have the confidence to do this... Maybe I should put things up on ebay or something. If anything... Er...) And so on.
Guh...
Anyway. Basically, since I seem to be getting far more interested in this jewelery-making than I thought I would be (I only wanted to make a bi-pride collar, honestly, but I kind of got carried away...), it might be a good idea to try and make stuff that is at least slightly sell-able. Or something.
Hm. :-\
Additionally: I also went to Lush - which is having a 3-for-1 sale on soap and bath bombs until Sunday. /plug.
I got 2 'HoneyBee' bath bombs, 2 'Butter Ball' bath bombs, 1 'Think Pink' bath bomb, and a chunk of 'Honey, I Washed the Kids' soap.
For me.
And some other stuff, for other people. ;-)
The one good thing about all of this (other than the buckets of pampering and pretty things, obviously) is that I didn't use my credit card(s) to pay for any of this stuff.
Good. Interest-free purchases are *FAR* better than the interest-gathering kind.
Ehh.
In other news: I am starting to get the voice of an OC into my head. She's a fashion photographer for a high end magazine. Possibly called "Lush Life" or something. And there will, most likely, be more on her later. Her name is Piper, by the way. :-)
Anyway. I hear the sound of dinner coming out of the oven. :-) Time for me to go downstairs and eat pizza and watch a silly movie with Paul. Yay! :-D
- TTFN,
- Amazon.
