My choir is doing a performance a week from tomorrow.
I got given a solo. Today.
Okay! :-)
So I have to practice every day this week. (With the Internet as my Witness).
In other news:
Today, I made a collar necklace. It is hematite and red fossil and two shiny bar things that keep everything else lined up right.
I gave it a magnetic clasp. I think it may be about 2mm too tight now as, if I don't keep my head still it falls off.
<*looks at sentence*>
If I don't keep my head still, the necklace falls off.
<*cough*>
It's perfectly comfortable, just potentially loose-able. So I may have to re-work it again. (We shall see).
This afternoon, I shall"
- Re-string one, possibly two, necklaces (my hematite-and-black-pearl one, and my bi-pride one).
- Do a load of laundry
- Do some shopping
- Make fish (pollock) korma & steamed asparagus for dinner
- Go to a Mozart concert (see below)
- Go to a re-scheduled birthday party
The concert:
8pm @ St. Andrew's Church (Kent @ Wellington, across from the court).
Tickets = $25.
Mozart choral Impressive Stuff featuring full orchestra + Devon Thivierge as the featured soloist (she's phenomenal!)
Anyway, as I have a bucket and half of Stuff To Do, I shall get on it all double-quick. :-)
- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-)
