So, my Young Lady is having a soiree -- a poetry concert (featuring Luna Allison and, I believe, Faye Estrella among others).
When: Saturday, OCt 25th. 7-10pm
Where: The Mercury Lounge (56 Byward Market St, right near that really HUGE furniture store across from the Bay).
Cover: $10-$20 -- it's a sliding scale. It's also a fund-raiser.
Come out, be supportive, and enjoy some awesome food and some awesome poetry by some very awesome poets. :-D
I'm off to finish my spiffy lace dress. :-)
